It was quite literally a picture perfect day in Coral Gables for Maritza & Omar’s engagement session. We had a spectacular itinerary planned, and each location had special meaning for our couple. They arrived with Maritza’s beautiful daughter Sophia in tow, and we embarked on our photographic journey. Starting off at Fairchild Tropical Gardens, we wandered around the grounds enjoying the landscape and finding hidden nooks and artful botanical displays. As the light transitioned to evening, we moved on to Matheson Hammock Park. The man made atoll pool was a stunning tropical backdrop for our portraits. Maritza and Omar even treated us to a little music and dancing as the sun dipped low in the sky. Maritza twirled, showing us some of her flamenco moves, as Omar played and Sophia watched eagerly. It was a beautifully romantic scene, with the Miami skyline in the distance. After an incredible sunset, we took a break for a delicious Italian meal at Villagio in the Village of Merrick Park, and eventually moved on to late night tea at the Coral Gables landmark Biltmore Hotel. It was a wonderful day, filled with so many great images that we really had a hard time picking for the blog! Maritza and Omar, we hope you love this as much as we do, and we can’t wait for your wedding day!
