The winter chill that has enveloped south Florida for the past few weeks decided to take a day off this past Saturday- perfect timing for Katy & Matt’s garden wedding at the Sundy House in Delray Beach. From Katy’s elegant side-swept hairdo, to the beautiful ceramic bell that had belonged to her grandmother, the personal touches that graced this wedding brought back visions of another era, with a stylish modern twist. Instead of just a traditional maid of honor speech, the bridesmaids all sang a song together that was truly special to Katy- one that she had shared with her sister years before. It was a touching tribute to the newly married couple, and the perfect way to start off the celebration. The fantastic band, Heatwave, kept the tunes coming, and really got the party moving as the night progressed. Katy and Matt were so laid back and happy to be together that they let us pretty much steal them away from the party for a bit to have some fun shooting… we’re so happy they did! The results are beautiful, fun, and just a little retro… kind of like the two of them
