This session was a marathon, not a sprint. Sara and Jon let us lead them around South Beach for hours - and loved every minute! With perfectly overcast afternoon skies (Dan and I LOVE that kind of light) we started off on Lincoln Road. Sara had color coordinated their outfits to compliment their October nuptials (and by doing so, threw in a little nod to their alma matter, FSU). What great attention to detail! After playing on fountains, (apparently, we’re determined to eventually fall into water with our gear) and hiding in phone booths ala Clark Kent, we made our way over to The National on Collins, where Sara and Jon will be saying their I Do’s. It was the perfect opportunity to scope out the landscape for their wedding- and what a beautiful location for a wedding it is. We used the beach behind the hotel as our playground in the evening light, and created gorgeous dramatic portraits of this fun loving duo. We always love how the personality of a couple influences the direction and feel of our art, making each session totally unique and special. Hence the name, ArtEssence
